Help me help the PMD Foundation

Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. PMD children and families are presented with many challenges. Specifically the quality of life as the children grows. Parents need help with providing for basic needs. Although the clinical basis of the disease was described more than 100 years ago, widespread awareness of PMD among the general public is still a significant issue. As PMD is a rare disease, with only thousands of known cases in the world; researchers are faced with a limited pool of data with which to work., I knew I had to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support the PMD Foundation. Their campaign providing patients and their families with the resources and network they need, increasing public awareness, and acting as an information source for healthcare providers will help us fight for a future world without PMD—and you can be a part of it.
